During this holiday season, our students and faculty will help our community by taking up a food collection to help the Community Bread Basket provide for families in need. Each Grade is responsible for donating the following items beginning December 2, 2019. All items must be in by Friday, December 13th. Congratulations to Chloe Orecchio


Chloe Orrechio with Mary Jo Guidi, Senator Joe Manchin's Representative, WV Senator Ryan Weld, City of Weirton Mayor, Harold Miller, and Prudential Representative Evan Haines. St. Joseph the Worker is happy to announce that Chloe Orecchio is the Prudential Spirit of Community WV Middle School Award winner for the creation of Chloe’s Campus Cleanup. Chloe, along with 101 other high school and middle school students from each of the 50 states, will receive $1,000, a silver medal, and an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. where they will be honored beginning May 4-7, 2019. If I Were Mayor” Essay Contest Winners


Congratulations to Carmela and Nic for winning the “If I Were Mayor” essay contest hosted by the WV Municipal  League. There were five winners out of 30 schools and 400 essays. St Joe’s was the only school in Hancock County to win and the only school in the state to have two winners. We are so proud of these students and school. Go Spartans!
